Laptop Thoughts: Motorola Xoom: Meeting Early Expectations?

"No offense to Dell, Samsung, or the many other companies that released Android-powered slates before now, but the Motorola Xoom is really the first official Android tablet. It's not an oversized phone with tablet stuff tacked on; this 10.1-inch device is the first slate that's powered by Android 3.0, an OS built from the ground up with larger screens in mind."

A somewhat disappointing early review. While Android 3.0 (and up) is where tablets need to be, I do wonder if Motorola rushed the Xoom to market too soon - before the bugs were squashed. As is often the case, the end user gets to be an unofficial beta tester, and pays a pretty penny for the privilege.
